10.Petrificus Totalus

Petrificus Totalus or the full-body bind is a spell that stiffens a person's limb so they cannot move.

The word has been derived from the greek
First, we have ‘Petra’, which means ‘rock’ in Greek. ‘Ficus’ is a Latin suffix that denotes ‘making’ or ‘doing’ something. ‘Totalus’, meaning ‘total’ or ‘entire’. So roughly speaking, ‘Petrificus Totalus’ translates to ‘Make rock totally’, which we’re sure victims of the curse, such as Neville Longbottom.

 We first see this spell when Harry is preparing for the Triwizard tournament's third task. This is next taught by Harry himself to his batchmates while preparing the Dumbledore's Army. Later Ginny uses the spell to save harry in Deathly Hallows.

The Snake summon spell (Serpensortia)is a transfiguration spell that conjures a live snake from the end of the wand. This spell is used by Draco Malfoy on Harry Potter while having a friendly match Draco uses this spell so as the revenge of the previous one.

Sectrumsempra is a curse invented by Professor Severus Snape that lacerates the target and creates severe hemorrhaging, Snape created this spell as a student of Hogwarts with the intention of using it against his enemies likely Maudrers and later on it became one of his specialties, this curse was later on Learnt by Harry potter through the Snapes notebook(Half-blood Prince) and Harry used it to attack this on Malfoy. Later harry even tries to kill Snape with this spell but little did he knew that half-blood prince is none other than Snape.

4.Expelliarmus

Expelliarmus means to drive out a weapon (Disarming Charm) and forces the subject to dropout whatever they are holding usually that's a Wand and this is often seen in duals. Harry became so enamored with this spell that he eventually used it to kill Voldemort in the end.

This curse was used by the dark lord to kill Lilly & James Potter then later Snape used this to kill Professor Dumbledore
